WARRANTY & PRODUCT CARE POLICY
Our Warranty Promise
At AARKA, we believe a well-made product should be enjoyed with confidence. Our 6-month warranty is intended to provide reasonable support for genuine product-related issues arising from manufacturing or product quality, subject to the terms of this Policy and applicable law.
Warranty Period
AARKA provides a limited warranty for a period of 6 months from the date of delivery of the product to the customer. Warranty claims should be raised within this period and may require valid proof of purchase and order details.
What the Warranty Covers
Subject to verification, the warranty may cover genuine manufacturing or product-quality defects affecting the frame, frame construction, hinges or other hardware, lenses where the issue is attributable to a product defect, and defects in the product's coating or finish.
The warranty is intended to address defects attributable to the product itself. It is not an assurance against every possible change or damage that may occur during use. AARKA will assess each claim based on the condition of the product, the nature of the reported issue and the circumstances in which the issue arose.
Accidental Damage and Improper Handling
The warranty does not cover accidental or impact-related damage, including damage caused by dropping, crushing, bending, sitting on the product, pet damage, or other external events or handling that are not attributable to a manufacturing defect.
Damage caused by misuse, abnormal handling, exposure to unsuitable conditions, or use inconsistent with reasonable eyewear care may also fall outside warranty coverage.
Wear, Use and Product Condition
AARKA will assess the condition of the product fairly and on the circumstances of each claim. Where a reported issue appears to be a genuine product-quality concern, the claim may be considered even if the product has been used during the warranty period.
At the same time, the warranty is not intended to treat every minor cosmetic change or ordinary consequence of use as a manufacturing defect. AARKA will distinguish, as reasonably possible, between a product defect and changes arising from use, handling or external circumstances.
Repairs, Adjustments and Modifications
A customer may have the product professionally adjusted or handled when reasonably necessary. However, where a reported warranty issue appears to have been caused or materially affected by an external repair, modification, alteration or intervention, AARKA may consider that circumstance when assessing the claim.
A prior adjustment or repair does not automatically invalidate every warranty claim. Each case will be reviewed based on the nature of the reported issue and the condition of the product.
Customised Prescription Lenses
AARKA may provide a customised prescription-lens solution for sunglasses based on prescription details supplied by the customer through our official WhatsApp communication channel. Before processing the customised order, AARKA may collect the required prescription and product details directly from the customer.
The prescription lens supplied will be prepared according to the prescription information provided and confirmed by the customer. Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete and current prescription information. AARKA is not responsible for errors arising from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or incorrectly communicated prescription information supplied by the customer.
Because prescription-lens sunglasses are prepared as a customised solution for the individual customer, customised prescription-lens products are not eligible for return or exchange merely because the customer changes their mind, does not prefer the result, or later wishes to use a different prescription. Any issue relating to a verified manufacturing defect or an error attributable to AARKA will be assessed separately under the applicable warranty or resolution process.
Warranty Claim Process
To raise a warranty claim, please contact AARKA at team@aarkaeyewear.com with your order details and a clear description of the issue. AARKA may request photographs, video, product details, order information, or other reasonable evidence before confirming whether a claim qualifies for warranty review.
Providing evidence does not automatically mean that a claim has been accepted. AARKA may need to inspect the product physically before determining the appropriate resolution.
Evidence and Fair Assessment
Where the nature of the claim requires visual or other supporting evidence, AARKA may request clear photographs or video showing the relevant part of the product and the reported issue. In delivery-related or condition-at-opening matters, the evidence requirements under our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy may also apply.
Evidence requirements are intended to help AARKA assess claims consistently and accurately and to maintain a reliable record of product condition. They are not intended to question the customer's intentions or honesty.
Warranty Inspection
Where physical inspection is required, the customer may be asked to send the product to AARKA's designated location. AARKA will assess the product, the reported issue, the order information, and any supporting evidence provided.
The inspection and assessment process generally takes approximately 3–7 business days after AARKA receives the product, depending on the nature of the issue and the information required to complete the assessment.
Warranty Resolution
If a warranty claim is verified and approved, AARKA will determine the most appropriate resolution based on the nature of the issue, product availability, and practical circumstances. The resolution may include repair, replacement, an alternative product, store credit, refund, or another reasonable solution.
Where the exact product is unavailable, AARKA will discuss the available resolution with the customer on a case-by-case basis. Any applicable price difference, credit, refund, or other adjustment will be communicated before the resolution is finalised.
Warranty Shipping Charges
Responsibility for shipping costs under a warranty claim may vary depending on the circumstances. In some cases, the customer may be responsible for sending the product to AARKA; in other cases, AARKA may arrange, cover, or reimburse the applicable shipping cost. The same case-by-case approach may apply to shipping a repaired or replacement product back to the customer.
Where a particular shipping arrangement applies to an approved claim, AARKA will communicate it to the customer during the warranty process.
Warranty Is Personal to the Product Transaction
Warranty claims may be considered for the original customer or a subsequent owner where AARKA determines that the circumstances justify doing so. AARKA may request proof of purchase, order details, or other information necessary to establish the product's purchase and warranty status.
Warranty and Returns Are Different
The 7-day return and replacement process described in our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy primarily addresses issues identified shortly after delivery, including verified damage, manufacturing defects, incorrect products, and incomplete orders.
The 6-month warranty provides a separate pathway for eligible product-related issues that arise or become apparent during the warranty period. The availability of a warranty does not automatically mean that every issue occurring during the warranty period is covered; eligibility depends on the nature and cause of the issue and the assessment of the claim.
Product Care — Getting the Best From Your AARKA
Good care helps preserve the fit, finish, and performance of your eyewear. We recommend using both hands when putting on or removing your glasses, rather than pulling them away from the face with one hand.
When the glasses are not being worn, keep them inside the protective case provided by AARKA. Avoid placing the lenses directly on any surface, particularly with the lens-facing side down.
Clean the lenses gently with a clean, suitable microfiber lens cloth. Avoid abrasive fabrics, paper tissues, rough materials, and household cleaning products that may affect lens surfaces or coatings.
Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, alcohol-based, or other unsuitable cleaning substances unless they are specifically recommended for your particular lenses or coatings. If you are unsure, contact AARKA before using a cleaning product.
Do not leave your eyewear exposed to extreme heat for prolonged periods, including inside a parked vehicle or close to strong heat sources. Excessive heat may affect frames, coatings, lenses, or other components.
Avoid placing heavy objects on your eyewear and do not store the glasses loosely with keys, coins, or other objects that may scratch or damage the product.
For adjustments, fitting concerns, or care questions, we encourage you to contact AARKA rather than attempting a structural repair yourself.
Prescription Information and Customer Responsibility
For customised prescription-lens orders, customers should carefully review and confirm the prescription information supplied to AARKA before the customised order is processed. AARKA prepares the customised lens solution based on the information provided by the customer.
If you believe a customised prescription lens has been manufactured incorrectly or does not correspond to the confirmed information provided to AARKA, please contact us so that the matter can be reviewed.
Fraud Prevention and Verification
AARKA may carry out reasonable verification before approving a warranty claim, particularly where the information provided, product condition, order history or supporting evidence requires clarification. Where necessary, additional information may be requested to establish the nature and cause of the reported issue.
If a claim is found to involve deliberate misrepresentation, manipulated evidence, unauthorised use of order information or other fraudulent conduct, AARKA may take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law and the Terms of Use & Purchase.
Relationship With Other AARKA Policies
This Policy should be read together with our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges, Shipping & Delivery, Order Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use & Purchase. Where a matter is covered by more than one policy, the relevant provisions should be read together.
Policy Updates
AARKA may update this Policy from time to time where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes in our products, warranty processes, customer support practices or applicable legal requirements. The version published on our website will apply to warranty claims made after its effective date, subject to applicable law.
